TV3 is owned and operated by Medford Community Cablevision Inc, a forward-thinking non-profit media company serving the City of Medford in providing an award-winning Public-access television station. MCC was created as part of a mandate of the 1984 Cable Franchise Policy and Communications Act. The station's current production studio and broadcast facilities are located at 5 High Street, under Congressman Ed Markey's office in Medford Square. TV3 is a membership-based studio. A variety of membership tiers are available to Medford residents, employees, and business owners. It is the goal of TV3 to provide a state-of-the-art production facility, address and meet the needs of members and producers, and provide extensive training opportunities for producers.
